Okay, so here's an explanation as to how this table works. Or at least as I understand it to work. Taking into account that when Dave explained it to me he was a pint strong and I was on my second pint. And according to Cam, foreigners can't hold their drink. At least that's what I think he said. Scotsmen are difficult enough to understand when they're sober and even worse when they've had a few.
The 'H/Cap' column is your current handicap. The 'Start H/Cap' column is what your handicap was at the start of the season. The Imp column is the improvement in your handicap. The 'Best 3 H/C' column is your best 3 handicap scores so far this season, and the '2007' column is what your handicap is going to be at the start of the 2007 season. The new season starts on the 1st of January every year by the way.
